Club basketball teams for 3rd grade through high school (2nd graders will be accepted upon assessment).

Basketball is not just about sports. At KAO Athletics, we will teach your child about self-esteem, citizenship, good sportsmanship, and being true to themselves while also teaching them basketball skills. While we always play to win, our focus is teaching the fundamentals of basketball. We welcome kids of all skill levels and experience.

We get to know each player, including their skill level and their personality, and we tailor our approach to each player's needs and learning style. Through our program, your child will gain confidence, improve their self-esteem, and mature as a person and as a basketball player.

Thank you for choosing to tryout for the KAO Athletics Basketball Program. KAO athletics is a family based and community ran program that teaches more than just basketball. We encourage kids to develop mentally and physically through communication and confidence as we teach them to compete and be competitive.

Each athlete will be evaluated and each evaluation will be discussed with at least one parent prior to the selection of the team to determine the best fit for your child.

Players are able to play with another “Travel Team” as long as all requirements are met. No in state tournaments can be played with another team if KAO is attending and LOCAL San Diego tournaments are forbidden to be played with another travel team. Please speak with Mike or Travon regarding policies for more clarity.

Once you have been slotted for a team there will be no refunds.
